The boat was gentle rocking, as it had done on the outward crossing, but then I was a different person, an exhausted grey wraith. Closed in on myself like a limpet, clinging to the rock, waiting for the returning tide.
Having just shared about the wonders of being outdoors I just wanted to encourage those readers living in the UK especially In the midlands area that Bluebell walk in Shrawley Wood is well worth an afternoon visit!
It would also be lovely for students new to the area, Internationals and tourists visiting Worcestershire to experience as it is quintessentially British, and really the best of England outdoors!
The sounds of birds, lambs, and bees is just so other than what you normally hear, and the smells!!!
I cannot gush enough about the beautiful sensation of being outdoors! It is healthy, soul restoring and peaceful. This is why I am truly grateful that the flowers are blossoming and the weather is making an effort to be friendly once more.
When the weather is harsh there really isn’t that same kind and easy atmosphere, one has to fight the elements. I can’t say how much I dislike the cold. Ever since I returned from my year long trip to the 30-40 degrees of humid Thailand, I have found chilliness difficult to bear. I am now easing in to the British climate and with that my inner wild woman appears!
